So you might be wondering…who am I?
While I’m many things, I am first and foremost a person who has lived through the turmoil of having a loved one suffer with the disease of alcohol and drug addiction. I have felt its burdensome effects on my own life, and found a way to learn to live my life for myself so I could be a greater asset to all those I cared about.
More practically, I am a Certified Life Coach, Certified BALM Family Recovery Coach and Energy Leadership Master Practitioner. More importantly, I’m here to help guide you toward finding and leading a life that you love. Having lived through a painful co-dependent marriage with an alcoholic/addict years ago, I have experienced first-hand the sea of personal challenges that more often than not come with such a difficult situation. I also know that it’s possible to emerge from such dark struggles as a stronger, more whole and more fulfilled individual destined for a lifetime of happiness.
That happiness can be yours, too.
After a lifetime of diverse experience –– from a career as successful corporate consultant, to operating a fulfilling and joyful gardening business –– I am finally where I feel most at home: helping others achieve the happiness and personal empowerment that I discovered for myself so many years ago. My coaching programs are shaped to help family members with addicted loved ones tend to their own critical needs, while building a foundation for them to rebuild their relationships with their spouses, children, and other family members who are undergoing their own recovery process.

I think of life itself now as a wonderful play that I’ve written for myself, and so my purpose is to have the utmost fun playing my part. ~Shirley MacLaine”
